With over 25 years in education leadership, Mari Minjarez has led statewide policy efforts, negotiated labor agreements, and guided organizations through complex compliance and organizational challenges.

• Labor relations strategy and collective bargaining

She has conducted and overseen hundreds of sensitive investigations involving employee misconduct, workplace culture, and student safety, and is known for a balanced approach that integrates restorative practices, mediation, and organizational insight.

Leadership & Recognition

Mari’s work extends beyond individual organizations to statewide leadership and collaboration. She has:

• Served as Executive Chair of the Personnel Administrative Services Committee (PASCo) for the California County Superintendents

• Represented county offices as Legislative Liaison and Committee Member for over a decade

• Contributed to California’s Employee Management Group (EMG), collaborating with leading legislative advocates in statewide organizations and large educational agencies

• Received the STAR Award from the California County Superintendents (2021)
